সাব-রেজিস্ট্রি অফিসে দুদকের অভিযান; অফিস সহকারী’র ড্রয়ার থেকে ৩,০১,২০০ টাকা উদ্ধার
?কুষ্টিয়ার জেলার দৌলতপুর, সাব-রেজিস্ট্রার অফিসে জমির দলিলের নকল প্রদানে ঘুষ দাবির অভিযোগে আজ ২৬-০১-২০২২ খ্রি. তারিখে দুর্নীতি দমন কমিশন, সমন্বিত জেলা কার্যালয়, কুষ্টিয়া’র সহকারী পরিচালক নীল কমল পাল এর নেতৃত্বে অভিযান পরিচালিত হয়েছে। অভিযানকালে দুদক কর্তৃক টিম তল্লাশি করে দৌলতপুর সাব-রেজিস্ট্রি অফিসের অফিস সহকারী জান্নাতুল আক্তার (৪৯) এর ড্রয়ার হতে ৩,০১,২০০ (তিন লক্ষ এক হাজার দুইশত) টাকা উদ্ধার করেছে। তাৎক্ষণিকভাবে অভিযোগ সংশ্লিষ্ট ব্যক্তি উক্ত টাকার উৎস সম্পর্কে গ্রহণযোগ্য ব্যাখ্যা/রেকর্ডপত্র দিতে অসমর্থ হন। দুদক টিম জানতে পারে আজ উক্ত সাব-রেজিস্ট্রার অফিসে মোট ২৮৩টি দলিল রেজিস্ট্রেশন এর জন্য জমা পড়েছ। তবে, বর্তমানে সাব-রেজিস্ট্রি অফিসে নগদে কোন ধরনের ফি/টাকা নেওয়ার বিধান নাই। দলিল রেজিস্ট্রেশন এর ফি পে-আর্ডারের মাধ্যমে গ্রহণ করা হয়ে থাকে। তাই, প্রাথমিকভাবে উদ্ধারকৃত অব্যাখ্যায়িত টাকা ঘুষের অর্থ বলে দুদক টিমের নিকট প্রতীয়মান হয়। আরও জানা যায়, কুষ্টিয়ায় দৌলতপুরের সাব-রেজিস্টার হিসেবে অতিরিক্ত দায়িত্ব পালন করছেন সুব্রত কুমার সিংহ; যার মূল পোস্টিং কুষ্টিয়ার সদরের সাব-রেজিস্ট্রার অফিসে। অর্থ উদ্ধারের ব্যপারে দুদক টিম মামলা দায়েরর সুপারিশ করে কমিশনে প্রতিবেদন দাখিল করবে। মামলা দায়েরের প্রক্রিয়া চলমান থাকায় অভিযোগ সংশ্লিষ্ট জান্নাতুল আক্তার (৪৯)-কে দৌলতপুর থানা পুলিশের হেফাজতে রাখা হয়েছে।

ACC raid on sub-registry office; 3,01,200 সাব-রেজিস্ট্রি অফিসে দুদকের অভিযান; অফিস সহকারী’র ড্রয়ার থেকে ৩,০১,২০০ টাকা উদ্ধার from the office assistant’s drawer
?Daulatpur, Kushtia District, Sub-Registrar’s Office today on 26-01-2022 AD on the charge of bribery for providing fake land documents. The operation was led by Neel Kamal Pal, Assistant Director, Anti-Corruption Commission, Integrated District Office, Kushtia. During the operation, the ACC team searched the office and recovered Rs 3,01,200 (three lakh one thousand two hundred) from the drawer of Daulatpur Sub-Registry Office Office Assistant Jannatul Akter (49). Immediately the person concerned is unable to give an acceptable explanation / record of the source of the money. The ACC team found out that a total of 263 documents have been submitted to the sub-registrar’s office for registration today. However, at present there is no provision for taking any fee / money in cash at the Sub-Registry Office. Document registration fee is accepted through pay-order. Therefore, the unexplained money recovered initially appears to the ACC team as bribe money. It is also learned that Subrata Kumar Singh is performing additional duties as Sub-Registrar of Daulatpur in Kushtia; The main posting of which is in the office of Sub-Registrar of Kushtia Sadar. The ACC team will submit a report to the commission recommending to file a case regarding the recovery of money. Jannatul Akhter, 49, has been kept in the custody of Daulatpur police as the process of filing a case is underway.
